Singles Snapshot: 1994 Stadium Club Dynasty & Destiny #1 Walter Payton & Emmitt Smith

The top two rushers in league history. One was the reigning career rushing champ at the time; the other was early in his career but well on his way to greatness. Both share this one glorious piece of cardboard. There have been plenty of “past and present” cards, but not many featured a combo quite this prolific. (These two combined for over 35,000 rushing yards!) There are some great 90’s aspects here, too: the gold rainbow foil and the gritty, worn-looking lettering of “dynasty” and “destiny” against the brick wall background. Great action pictures on the front are complimented by the serious, no-helmet portraits on the back. I love the history on this card, both as a football fan and as a collector.
